Bronwen is an experienced performer with 1000's of hours on stage
combined with over 500 hours of both live and pre-recorded television.
Born and raised in Canada, Bronwen is fluent in both English and French.
Half Filipino and half Welsh, her unique and exotic looks lead her to
modelling and fashion shows at an early age. Her ethnic background makes
her one of the few Eurasian television presenters and actresses.
Bronwen began dancing at the age of four and has been a performer ever since.
She was touring from the age of 13 with an award winning Filipino dance
group travelling to countries around the world performing cultural dances.
After taking a short break to complete a degree in Education, Bronwen pursued
her passion for musical theatre with many successful appearances in 'Grease',
the 'Wizard of Oz' and a national tour of the 'King and I'. She has also had
the opportunity to showcase her talents as an actress and dancer appearing in
the movies 'Head in the Clouds' , 'Silent Screams' and small productions
including 'Stage Door' and 'The Last Five'.
Bronwen’s first presenter role came in Los Angeles in 2000 when she was chosen from
100's of hopefuls to be the host of a pilot TV show called 'Speed Date'. This taste
for presenting helped her decide to move her career
further into television. In 2005 she settled in London and had her UK television
debut with Sit Up channels as a presenter for Bid TV. She has since become a
regular on Bid TV and sister channel Price Drop. The live presenting, open talk-back,
non-scripted environment is a scary concept for many presenters but Bronwen loves
every moment. She is completely at home in front of the live camera and is able to
quickly adapt, improvise and maintain composure. Bronwen's popularity with viewers
is due to her infectious energy and charisma and her style of presenting is best
described as spontaneous, highly entertaining and naturally warm.
Bronwen is currently working as a freelance television presenter in the UK.
